Earlier today, we posted an article stating that Idris Elba has been cast as Nigel Farage in a movie adaptation of the Coutts / NatWest banking scandal.
We got this information from a senior and trusted source, but it has now become clear that this was entirely incorrect and we would like to apologise to Mr Farage in the strongest possible terms.
Southend News Network is happy to set the record straight and confirm that it is in fact Samuel L Jackson who will be playing the lead role.
We have also written to Mr Farage and referred ourselves to DIPSO over the matter.
