An England fan from Essex is only buying England flags for his house and car that have the word ‘ENGLAND’ in white capital letters on the red horizontal line of the St. George’s Cross just to avoid any final shred of doubt about where his allegiance lies during the World Cup.

Lewis Petit-Saucisse from Southend told us that he was worried that people might think he supports Switzerland or Labour.

He added, ‘I’m annoyed that they haven’t spelt it right on my latest set.’

‘They left out the ‘e’ and the ‘r’ between the ‘g’ and the ‘l.’

His neighbour David Texaco told our Chief Reporter that he was already aware that Lewis supported England.

He said, ‘Every time he gets home at night he headbutts a hole in his living room wall instead of using the front door.’
