A spokesperson for the Foreign Office has confirmed that Theresa May and Boris Johnson have reached a ‘compromise’ after the Foreign Secretary demanded a Brexit Jet that he could use to travel all over the world and promote Brexit.

The scaled-down vehicle has been described as ‘a showcase for British business encased within a triumph of United Kingdom engineering and ingenuity,’ although initial tests at a secret location have revealed a few flaws and teething issues.

A source said, ‘It runs OK, but it’s not exactly environmentally friendly.’

‘Also, in this age of heightened terror awareness, the exhaust isn’t exactly ideal.’

‘We have had four false alarms already today.’

‘I had to give the front a bloody good hiding to get the buggering engine to stop ticking as well.’
